The Smart Automation Center for Enablement is one of the premier options for creating ‘Smart’ operational solutions within the Capital Group enterprise. The RPA Software Developer, within the Smart Automation Center for Enablement, will use innovative robotic automation technologies including UiPath, Blue Prism, Alteryx, and Python to create, own, and support custom ‘process-as-code’ products to improve the user journey towards their operational goals.

We are looking for individuals who’ll ideate, champion, and implement new products across the entire product lifecycle within a collaborative team environment to deliver the benefits of scalability, responsiveness, accuracy, consistency, and risk reduction to support Capital Group’s mission of improving people’s lives through successful investing.

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field

• You have at least 5 years of software engineering experience, building and operationally supporting applications using Python, Java, .Net, including interacting with APIs, or similar technologies

• You have the business acumen and analytical abilities to understand & translate business objectives into clearly defined requirements and visual process modelsYou can deal with ambiguity, manage complexity & drive for results, ultimately taking end-to-end ownership of the outcome

• You have experience in software delivery with Agile methods and System Life Cycle

• Management tools – Confluence, JIRA, Bit bucket/Git, Bamboo/Jenkins, XL Deploy, etc.

• An affinity for data, fluency in SQL and experience with data visualization/data manipulation tools like Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, Alteryx, is a plus.

• Intelligent Automation experience specifically on the Blue Prism or UiPath platform is a plus.
