Results Analysis is a global team with locations in Los Angeles, Irvine, London, and Singapore. As an Analyst within our Results team in Los Angeles, you will be focused on engaging with our business partners to deliver timely and accurate performance measurement and analysis for Capital Group's American Funds suite of mutual funds, institutional accounts, and Investment Group portfolios. You will be responsible for calculating and analyzing portfolio results, attribution, and analytics in support of external clients, shareholders, Marketing, Investment Group (Portfolio Managers and Research Analysts) and other internal stakeholders. You'll play a critical role in drawing new insights based on developing investment acumen and providing support for enterprise-wide initiatives and strategic objectives, including driving evolution of analytical systems (Aladdin, B-One, FactSet) and developing new product offerings. You will join a team focused on enabling a superior investment process while focusing on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and process optimization.

• You have a bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, mathematics, economics, statistics, management information systems or a relevant field of study.

• You have 3+ years of experience with Fixed Income and/or Equity, preferably with attribution and portfolio analysis.

• You have experience with calculating, validating, and interpreting portfolio investment results, attribution analysis, benchmark analysis and transaction/holdings-based analysis.

• You have excellent data analysis skills via SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Alteryx and/or Power BI) and MS Excel Skills (e.g., functions, charting, and pivot tables) to draw insights and develop creative and compelling exhibits; some experience with related systems (e.g., FactSet Portfolio Analysis, Point, Bloomberg, MorningStar Direct, BISAM B-One, Aladdin).
