    As a Retirement Plan Coordinator, you enjoy providing day-to-day service and support for American Funds proprietary bundled plans, acting as the main point of contact for financial professionals and plan sponsors. You will research issues and questions to coordinate a timely resolution, as well as consider plan design changes by analyzing the plan's health to provide options for solutions. You enjoy consulting and coaching financial professionals/sponsors through change processes, including qualified plan and compliance testing, to ensure all data is provided in a timely manner and deliver all testing results.

    • You have 5+ years of in-depth retirement plan market knowledge, including retirement plan design, terminology, regulations and procedures and know how to apply it to work assignments.
    • You enjoy staying informed of the company's products and services, policies and procedures and applicable regulations and legal requirements.
    • You will resolve complex inquiries related to our plans by utilizing resources to understand business and regulatory requirements.
    • You demonstrate initiative to identify issues, recommend solutions and make sound judgment in resolving matters of complexity.
    • You enjoy collaborating and maintaining relationships, both internally and externally, and pride yourself on your strong communication skills.

    Southern California Base Salary Range: $76,383-$122,213

    In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.

    *Temporary positions in Canada and the United States are excluded from the above mentioned compensation and benefit plans.
