    As a Sales Coach, you will provide ongoing coaching and training to internal sales associates who are responsible for increasing sales and retaining assets of the American Funds. You will partner with management to enhance sales effectiveness and drive the team towards quality client interactions and overall results through consistent and effective coaching, training and messaging.

    You should be able to d emonstrate in-depth knowledge in assigned area s while working under direction only as needed . Facilitat ing foundational knowledge and sales skills training, including classroom facilitation in both large and small group settings. Responsible for 1:1 coaching, program logistics , program management, content delivery and follow up participant feedback . Also participating in one or more phases of the instructional design process and the curriculum management process .

    • You will coach to specific skills and capabilities, as well as sales opportunities.
    • You will direct on-going sales development of associates by identifying skill gaps, and partner with senior managers, territory managers and Sales Enablement to recommend, develop and execute a plan to build sales and investment acumen.
    • You will tailor the coaching to the individual, identifying , reinforcing, and developing new behaviors that drive success and results.
    • You can understand the firm's business models, strategic initiatives and investment platforms.
    • You will partner with sales enablement to facilitate product selling and sales skills training classes.
    • You will monitor and assess client satisfaction through observation of client interaction, industry research and internal quality management processes to create an industry-leading Internal Sales & Support experience.
    • You will need to have or complete FINRA Series 7.

    San Antonio Base Salary Range: $81,407-$130,251

    Indianapolis Base Salary Range: $86,712-$138,739

    In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
