    "I CAN SUCCEED AS A SOLUTIONS ENGINEER AT CAPITAL GROUP."

    As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in enabling solutions and supporting them for the Accounts Payable group in Global Finance to improve efficiencies and build on the standard of Continuous Improvement throughout Capital Group. You will partner closely with Global Finance Vendor Maintenance, Accounts Payable and Strategic Sourcing and Procurement business partners to improve business processes and further integrate technology with people and process.

    You will contribute to the development and testing required to deliver business solutions including SAP ECC AP module, SAP VIM and Ariba. You will help drive business value by making recommendations to improve business processes, expand application features, resolve defects, and enhance business capabilities. We will leverage your expertise to provide thought leadership, stay abreast of industry and technology trends, and share knowledge with the business and team members.

    • You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field and at least 1-2 years of solution engineering and business system analyst experience with a grasp and fluency of areas in Accounts Payable technologies which includes working with SAP ECC, Ariba and/or Concur.

    • You have hands-on experience with configuration and functionality of Accounts payable including SAP ECC, Ariba and Concur. You have a strong AP System knowledge and are able to work with multiple AP applications.

    • You have an overall understanding of vendor accounts payable process flows, including vendor master data setup, invoice submission, invoice exception handling and invoice payments.

    • You are experienced in solution delivery through SDLC activities (e.g., requirements elicitations, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification, and resolution) to maintain technology solutions and applications.

    • You are a detail oriented and a strong self-learner with an ability to grow into newer technologies

    • You have experience in writing Functional Specification documents to articulate the functional and technical requirements for implementation of the functionality

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to interact effectively with technology partners, functional teams and business stakeholders

    Southern California Base Salary Range: $88,022-$140,835

    In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
