    JOB SUMMARY: 

    Patricio Enterprises is seeking a Field Engineer that will maintain Non-Destructive Test Equipment (NDTE) and provide technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement of NDTE technical products and systems. Employs senior level knowledge of NDTE systems to advanced troubleshooting, timely resolution of incidents, and proactive maintenance to ensure the maximum availability and optimal Mean Time to Repair. Provides training to customers. Travel is frequent, and work is generally performed at the customer site. Reviews system and network configurations to ensure successful implementation of services into production. Provides expert and second tier technical support for the installation and repair of complex systems and outages. Partners with developers and engineers to reduce re-occurring incidents. Provides consultative assistance during off hours as needed. Answers questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization and usage of designated systems and services.  Applies senior diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes and recommend solutions to correct common failures.

    PRIMARY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO): 

    • Understand the form, fit, function, wear, care and/or maintenance of equipment to be tested.
    • Advise supported personnel or organizations on technical aspects of the portfolio of equipment.
    • Act as a liaison between the supported organization and the (Program Executive Office, or other customer).
    • Will be required to operate the Non-Destructive Test Equipment Armor Inspection system to inspect DOD ceramic ballistic plates for mission-compromising cracks
    • Perform visual ceramic plate inspections, digital scanning, plate labeling and AIS system maintenance.
    • Maintain a standardized record of the scanning results.
    • Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Army-owned AIS units, its components and spare parts.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • At least 3 three years of experience within the last 5-years as a computer and electromechanical service technician, including electronic and mechanical subsystem assembly, disassembly, troubleshooting, and board-level part replacement repairs.
    • At least 3 years of experience within the last 5 years of reading and utilizing mechanical drawings and manuals, performing general electrical control and electronic troubleshooting, and circuit-level troubleshooting and system-level control wiring troubleshooting.
    • At least 3 years of experience within the last 5 years utilizing Microsoft Windows 7 or 10 operating systems, including the use of basic Microsoft Operating Systems commands, and the use of solid-state hard drives and USB thumb drives.
    • At least 3 years of experience within the last 5 years utilizing Microsoft Excel to view database tables.
    • Travel CONUS/OCONUS.

    • Possess strong hand and advanced CAD drafting skills.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop preferred.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Proficiency in 3D Modeling software such as 3D Studio Max and Viz 2006 preferred.
    • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, and InDesign graphic software preferred.
    • Proficiency in Revit preferred.
    • Proficiency in NewForma preferred.
    • Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems.
    • Advanced knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines.   
    • Advanced knowledge of QA/QC process.
    • Advanced knowledge of building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents.
    • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
    • Ability to work in team environment.
    • Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
