ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Business Intake Assistant, you will be responsible for processing the intake requests, assigning new client-matter numbers, coordinating with Client Intake Committee and other intake approvers regarding new clients, and undertaking other activities related to the Office of the General Counsel Department’s responsibilities. Other key responsibilities include:
Processing and reviewing New Business Intake (NBI) requests; verifying that the intake information is complete and within the firm standards
Communicating with attorneys and staff regarding intake issues and approvals
Updating and inputting data into the conflicts and financial databases; using internal and external information resources to confirm the accuracy of the information
Assisting with the research and input of DUNS numbers, SIC codes, and other identifying data to existing and future client records in the appropriate databases
Assisting with the processing of documents (NBI documentation, engagement letters, closure letters, etc.) for the Knowledge Management Database
Assisting with the input and maintenance of attorney origination and proliferation credits into the firm’s conflicts and financial databases
ABOUT YOU
We’d love to hear from you if you:
Display extensive knowledge and skill in utilizing databases and familiarity with standard database procedures, such as searching and generating reports
Demonstrate well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, along with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the Firm
Possess the ability to follow consistent procedures and display an attention to detail in all work activities
And have:
A Bachelor’s degree; a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in a law firm or other professional services firm
Experience with Intapp software products and/or 3E software
