ABOUT THE TEAM The Client Events team translates our lawyers’ business goals into actionable opportunities to connect with clients and prospects. The team designs and executes a highly innovative and varied range of events to enhance engagement and foster relationships. Working collaboratively with partners and BD colleagues, the team continually assesses and evolves how we engage with our clients and increase our return on investment. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Events Executive, you will be responsible for in-person and virtual client events for our European markets with a primary focus on London. Other key responsibilities include:

    • Working with key stakeholders to define event objectives and thoughtfully design event accordingly. Post-event, measuring success against outlined objectives and providing recommendations to extend the life-cycle of the event and capture additional return on investment.
    • Pro-actively managing the entire lifecycle of the event, including planning meetings, checklists, budgets, expense processing, vendor management, onsite and virtual platform management, data management, post-event analysis
    • Curating targeted invitations lists for each event, working closely with stakeholders and e-marketing team
    • Drafting event communications and collateral that align with Latham branding
    • Developing and controlling budgets for each event; identifying, negotiating and achieving cost savings with venues and vendors
    • Continuously stay abreast of event best practices as well as market and industry trend.

    ABOUT YOU We’d love to hear from you if you:

    • Possess strong interpersonal and client service skills
    • Communicate well at all levels of the organization
    • Consistently display a positive, high-energy attitude
    • Approach each event with a keen attention to detail to ensure superior client experience
    • Collaborate well across teams, exercise sound judgement, and stay calm under pressure

    And have:

    • Strong experience in event management
    • Experience using event management and CRM systems
    • Superior organizational skills to manage multiple events at one time
    • A Bachelor’s degree
    • Fluency in a second European language is desirable but not essential
