Position Overview: The Information Technology Department is seeking a Management Analyst to perform complex analytical and administrative duties in support of IT programs, to include policy development, implementation and compliance. Through career development, there is potential that the IT Management Analyst may work towards becoming an IT Security Officer. Career development areas may include: Level 1 Technical Knowledge: Demonstrates a basic understanding of key security and general IT technologies in the following areas: (1) Security: Identity management, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), network and platform security, data protection, cloud/managed security services. (2) General IT: Networking, server and endpoint technologies, application development processes, cloud/managed IT services. Level 2 Technical Knowledge: Demonstrate a solid understanding of key security and general IT technologies and processes in the following areas - (1) Security: Intrusion detection and prevention, incident response, information security awareness and training program, information security risk management, vulnerability management; and (2) General IT: Disaster recovery planning, internal audit & compliance management, IT/enterprise risk management, hardware asset management, data classification/data inventory system, network segmentation, VPN. Key responsibilities of the IT Management Analyst include: ? Tracks and manages physical assets ? Leads and supervises projects and programs ? Help implement a system to control the change management of related processes ? Reviews and researches legal issues ? Develop and implement policies ? Provides a recommended course of action and assists will compliance management ? Identifies, builds and maintains formal and informal networks and constructive relationships with stakeholders ? Administers contracts ? Prepares technical reports of research and analysis Please review the attached Job Addendums for a more information. Education & Experience: ? Bachelor?s degree in a related field ? 2-5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: (1) Policy development and implementation, (2) Review and analysis of legal and highly technical information, or (3) Leading and/or supervising projects or programs. ? Demonstrated experience of applying change management principles, methodologies and tools. Preferences may be given for: ? Previous IT experience ? Physical asset tracking experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: ? An understanding of how people go through change and the change process ? Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools ? Lead, guide and motivate groups of people ? Collaborate, listen and persuade others ? Communicate in a respectful and non-threatening manner ? Analyze methods, techniques and procedures of the organization ? Translate technical jargon to end-users ? Speak and present before large groups ? Ability to influence others and move towards a common vision or goal ? Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges Any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, education and experience may be considered qualifying.
