Responsible for set-up, mixing of drinks, service and clean-up of bar area while enduring quality service, guest satisfaction and the achievement/maintenance of village standards and profit maximization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers following established guidelines, procedures and policies regarding beverage and safety controls as prescribed by village standards. (60%)
• Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner; maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction. (10%)
• Track up-charges for Premium level drinks for room charges in the exact manner outlined by village policies and procedures. (10%)
• Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists. (5%)
• Know and comply with state liquor laws. (5%)
• Ensure established pars are maintained. (5%)
• Perform all side work duties according to side work schedules. (5%)

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Bartending School preferred, but no formal education required.
• One-year bartending experience preferred. Must be 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Scheduled days and times may vary based on business needs.
• Ability to read, speak and write English.
• Ability to accurately count cash and operate cash register.
• Ability to lift up to 36 pounds.
• Know and adhere to the village's health and safety policy.
• Understand and follow the hotel's procedure for fire and bomb threats.
• Be vigilant at all time to possible risks and report these immediately.
• Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported immediately and rectified.
• Ensure that the work area (front and back of house), materials and equivalent are clean and well-maintained at all times, and to report defective materials and equipment to the management.
