Commercial Litigation Associate

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Offit Kurman is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 3+ years of experience to join our growing Atlanta office. We are looking for a motivated litigator who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to take on meaningful responsibility while working alongside experienced attorneys.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling significant case responsibility. This role offers hands-on litigation experience, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to grow within a firm that values entrepreneurship, teamwork, and long-term career development.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting and responding to written discovery
• Preparing pleadings, dispositive motions, and briefs
• Conducting and defending depositions
• Appearing in court for hearings and conferences
• Managing matters from inception through resolution
• Participating in mediations and settlement negotiations
• Collaborating with partners and clients to develop litigation strategy\

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in general commercial litigation and/or insurance defense litigation
• Experience in one or more of the following areas strongly preferred:
  • Employment litigation
  • Multi-party litigation
  • Construction defense
  • Property-casualty loss matters
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience managing cases with increasing independence
• Admission to the Georgia Bar required
