    Job Description

    Latham & Watkins, a global law firm consistently ranked among the top firms in the world, is seeking a Financial Information Center (FIC) and Legal Project Management (LPM) Intern to join our dynamic team in our Global Services Office, located in our downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    As a Financial Information Center (FIC) and Legal Project Management (LPM) Intern, you will be responsible for working side-by-side with our full-time FIC and LPM teams to support the firm by performing critical functions that drive strategic and profitable growth. Other key responsibilities include:

    • Supporting day-to-day Financial Information Center (FIC) and Legal Project Management (LPM) team functions

    • Assisting the team on specific internal/external Financial Information Center (FIC) and Legal Project Management (LPM) projects and initiatives

    • Enhancing tracking system around Legal Project Management (LPM) supports (clients, matters, attorneys, etc.), this will require working in Asana and Business Objects

    • Running through existing Legal Project Management (LPM) reports and organize/file them in the Legal Project Management (LPM) shared inbox

    • Cataloging and capturing key information from write-off requests submitted to firm leadership from our partners

    ABOUT YOU

    We’d love to hear from you if you:

    • Are graduating juniors/seniors currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate program

    • Are pursuing a degree in either business, economics, finance or political science is preferred, but not required

    AND HAVE:

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong attention to detail

    • A customer-service orientation

The salary for this position is $30/hour and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location. Discretionary bonuses may be awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance - and profit-sharing partnership contributions to 401(k) accounts may be given based on firm performance.
