Guardant Health is looking for a Talent Engagement Intern who will join us part-time. The intern will help support our talent development and engagement efforts. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking to build a career in Human Resources, Communications, Business or Project Management. LET’S TALK ABOUT SOME OF THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

    • Assist in the coordination of Guardant Health University classes & programs.
    • Foster connection and collaboration through planning of company-wide (virtual) events, programs and initiatives to drive our culture and employee engagement.
    • Develop creative marketing assets and campaigns for talent development and engagement programs.
    • Support and innovate on culture-building strategies to support new hire and ongoing employee experiences.
    • Develop and analyze key data insights around employee experience and devise sustainable action plans to drive meaningful outcomes.

    • Current junior undergraduate student at an accredited four-year institution (graduating 2023).
    • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
    • 1+ year(s) of relevant coursework in business, communications or analysis/strategy preferred.
    • Capable self-starter who is motivated to build a career in biotech / life science.
    • Internally motivated "can-do" attitude who strives to get things done, regardless of challenges encountered.
    • Team player who is able to work collaboratively across the organization.
    • Can maintain confidentiality and be trustworthy with sensitive information
    • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Strong communicator who has excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
    • Able to successfully manage time and juggle competing priorities to ensure deadlines are met.
    • Ability to work independently with strong project management skills.
    • Superior knowledge of and experience in Slack, Canva and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PPT).
    • Experience using SAP Litmos and/or other Learning Management Systems a plus

    • The position will be a remote hybrid role based out of our beautiful San Diego or Redwood City office.
    • This position reports directly to the Associate Director, Talent Development and will be a valuable member of our People team.

     

    Additional Information
