    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated EMR Analyst to join our healthcare organization. As an EMR Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the effective utilization, configuration, and optimization of our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. You will work closely with clinical and administrative stakeholders to ensure the system meets the needs of our organization and contributes to enhanced patient care and operational efficiency.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Pre-sales technical questions: helping support sales by answers client technical team question which clarify the minimal build needed for Epic Aura

    • Lead build sessions/Turbocharger configuration: walk the customer through the turbocharger build in real time without any support. Ensure that build is completed quickly

    • Generate Technical Documentation: which will support client questions and optimize the build process

    • Main POC for Testing: facilitate all back and forth between customer and GH SQA during the testing process. Own test scripts and execution

    • Main POC for status and order issues during hypercare period: if converted to FTE, these analysts can access our internal systems to track issues within the GH ecosystem.

    • Facilitate Updates/Enhancements: manage and deliver updates to Guardant build/turbocharger from ideation to customer update.

    • Compile Epic System Enhancements: and present to internal stakeholders to consider as product enhancements.

    • Configure and customize the EMR system based on organizational requirements, workflows, and best practices.

    • Collaborate with end-users to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve user-reported problems related to the EMR system.

    • Conduct thorough analysis of clinical workflows and processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to optimize efficiency and usability of the EMR system.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, test, and implement system upgrades, enhancements, and new features.

    • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to educate healthcare professionals and staff on effective utilization of the EMR system.

    • Collaborate with data management teams to ensure accurate and complete data capture within the EMR system, and generate reports and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.

    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and advancements in EMR technology, and provide recommendations for system improvements and enhancements.

    • Assist in maintaining compliance with privacy and security regulations, such as HIPAA, by implementing access controls, conducting risk assessments, and monitoring system usage.

    • Document system configurations, processes, and user guides, and communicate system changes, updates, and training materials to end-users.

    Essential Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.

    • 7+ years of software product management experience

    • Proven experience working with EMR systems, preferably in a diagnostic environment.

    • EMR certifications on platforms such as EPIC are required.

    • Strong technical skills with the ability to configure and customize EMR systems.

    • Solid understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations.

    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

    • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

    • Knowledge of privacy and security regulations, such as HIPAA, is desirable.

    Additional Information

    ** Hybrid Work Model** : At Guardant Health, we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We have found aligning our scheduled in-office days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. At Guardant, our work model has created flexibility for better work-life balance while keeping teams connected to advance our science for our patients.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000 to $182,000. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations for the posted role with the exception of any locations specifically referenced below (if any).

    For positions based in Palo Alto, CA or Redwood City, CA, the base salary range for this full-time position is $168,960 to $228,000. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity.

    Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If you are selected to move forward, the recruiting team will provide details specific to the factors above.

    Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
