Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Algorithm Development team at Guardant is applying cutting-edge methods in next-generation sequencing (NGS) to develop blood-based, non-invasive approaches to detect early stage cancers. As a member of the Algorithm Development team, you will be involved in the design and implementation of novel next-generation sequencing (NGS) experiments, using custom assays in order to derive both molecular and biological insights that improve test performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You'll be responsible for the analysis and interpretation of biological data, as well as the design and implementation of new algorithms. Members of the Algorithm Team are expected to own the full development process, from the initial inception of key methods, to the implementation of the critical components, to the testing and validation of the final product.
