As a Global Technology & Documentation Training Coordinator at Latham, you will be responsible for leading projects regarding the creation of technology training documentation at the firm and leading training and development initiatives. You will design, develop, and deliver a variety of software and hardware training services and documentation to the personnel of Latham & Watkins. The Coordinator identifies training needs of Latham employees via training requests, analysis, and help desk reports. As a Global Technology & Documentation Training Coordinator, you will be expected to apply your organizational and communication skills while displaying a positive, high-energy attitude. The successful Global Technology & Documentation Training Coordinator must have knowledge and proficiency in a wide variety of software programs, including Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016. Experience with Acrobat, iManage, Kronos, Intapp Time, Litera Change-Pro preferred. Knowledge and proficiency of various remote communication methodologies required, including, Remote Desktop Servics (RDS), VPN and RSA SecurID; Cisco Phone system, learning management system (LMS). Knowledge and proficiency in adult learning, including the ability to create high-level training courses that incorporate experiential learning activities to meet the needs and culture of the audience required. Experience in facilitating professional training programs, willingness and aptitude to learn new applications, and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion is also required. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required. A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in instructional design and writing documentation for technology training. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience supporting technology through end-user training initiatives preferably in professional services organization. Relevant project management experience required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
LEVEL 6:
BSME, BSAE or equivalent. Two to four years of experience in designing mechanical military components/subsystems preferably in a manufacturing environment and applying AS9100D. Experience with composite materials and manufacturing processes. Able to be a self-starter. Some or all of the following experience: creating, reading and dimensioning / tolerancing drawings using GD&T, finite element analysis, and Computer Aided Drafting preferably CATIA v5 or Solidworks.
Working knowledge of both traditional and new manufacturing techniques for fiber reinforced plastic and thermoplastic materials.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
LEVEL 4:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to communicate in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
LEVEL 5:
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
