Busy and fast-paced medical malpractice and birth injury law firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to support the legal team in pursuing justice for injured patients and their families from case initiation through resolution. The ideal candidate possesses a strong working knowledge of and experience with Texas civil litigation, including drafting legal documents, monitoring case deadlines, and working with clients and expert witnesses. Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities: • • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, notices, and correspondence. • Analyze and calendar deadlines and settings. • Liaise with expert witnesses to facilitate case review, scheduling, and submission of materials. • Request and maintain subrogation and lien information. • Conduct background and legal research. • Communicate with clients, including gathering information, providing/requesting updates, and responding to ad hoc inquiries. • Document management, including processing/review of e-service and e-filings. • Assist with scheduling of depositions, hearings, meetings, calls, etc. Qualifications: • • 7+ years of experience in plaintiff-side medical malpractice and/or personal injury litigation. • Strong command of Texas civil procedure and local court rules. • Proficiency with Filevine, Lead Docket, Office 365, or similar case management/document management tools. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines. Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 DOE
