We have an exciting opportunity for an Information Technology Engineer, Developer at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP. We are searching for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team of lawyers, paralegals and business professionals.
The Information Technology Engineer, Developer will support the design, testing and document integration solutions, and deliver effective technical support and maintenance of a variety of software and systems applications.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field from an accredited college or university is required. Equivalent combination of an Associate’s degree and experience in the computer science field will be accepted.
Microsoft Certification, MCSE and Endpoint Administration Associate or equivalent certification is preferred.
It is preferable to have either at least 3 years of experience working with Windows software applications in a legal environment or to have an Associate Degree in a computer related field along with 5 years of experience.
Must have a thorough knowledge of Windows O/S, DOS, inTune, VM Ware, Desktop/Server Communications, Applications Development products and associated software applications.
Requires effective understanding and use of Windows-based workstations/ servers, peripherals and associated applications, applications development systems, including inTune application creation, administration and management, software and applications development, distribution, and desktop management software.
Knowledge and experience with database systems, including SQL database design, security and analysis.
Excellent interpersonal communication, written and verbal communication skills are required. Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a timely manner. Good customer service interaction is required.
Must be able to shift perspectives to see both the Technology Department’s and the end users’ goals and experiences.
Good judgment and ability to interact effectively with attorneys and firm personnel at all levels with a high degree of professionalism is required.
Must have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Must have the ability to lead by example and work with staff and Firm management in a service-oriented, team environment.
This is a remote role, and salary is commensurate with years of relevant experience & geographic location. The salary ranges for this position vary depending on the geographic location and other factors such as experience, internal equity, market data, and job-related considerations. The range for this position is from $82,200 -$157,000, with offers contingent upon the various factors.
