(LPD) Analyst The LPD Analyst is primarily responsible for reducing
risks to our company. Secondary responsibility is assisting both
corporate and sales departments by assessing their business needs in
areas such as customer Agreements, Contracts, new product releases,
importing and exporting regulations. The LPD Analyst is instrumental in
all areas of LPD as a true business partner. A successful individual in
this role demonstrates strong critical thinking skills and the ability
to translate strategic business plans and goals into actionable
projects. Principal duties and tasks * Daily interaction with sales
representatives, sales managers, and corporate personnel * Monthly
correspondence with international affiliates related to ongoing projects
- Auditing office safety policies, procedures and equipment. Occasional
travel to visit remote sales offices to conduct safety audits. * Review
of high-dollar contracts for sales departments. Identify areas of
concern and work with sales managers and legal counsel to present
negotiable options to the sales representative. * Review customer
Agreements, such as Non-Disclosure Agreements, for sales
representatives. Be able to identify red flags in these agreements and
offer appropriate corrections. * Completing customer information
surveys, product surveys, vendor surveys, and the like. * Responding to
customer requests for product compliance certificates * Researching new
safety and product-specific regulations * Conduct annual testing of
employees, analyze the results and propose improvement plans. *
Independent and group projects related to the current departmental
goals. Meet the department s activity goals by proactively and promptly
completing all tasks * Systematically monitor and analyze the progress
of contracts to ensure that they are still aligned with business
objectives * Ensure the company s safety policies are in compliance with
governing federal and state laws and regulations * Challenge and improve
the current LPD programs, processes, procedures, policy, guidelines, and
structure to allow for future stability and growth through risk
management * Plan, execute, and evaluate strategic LPD projects to
optimize our company and ensure alignment of LPD functions with business
objectives Qualifications * Bachelor s degree in Political Science,
General Business, or related field required * Paralegal certificate with
1-2 years experience working as a paralegal. Experience with human
resource and/or OSHA topics preferred. * Research legal issues through
online sources and draft briefs, legal memorandums and correspondence. *
Proficient written and oral communication skills * Proficient with
Microsoft Office software * Ability to function in a fast-paced,
innovative environment * Critical thinking skills to identify the
underlying principles, motivations, reasons, or facts by breaking down
information or data into separate parts * Business acumen to create
added-value to our company, managers, and employees by aligning LPD
practices with business objectives * Ability to establish and sustain
positive and productive interpersonal relationships * Demonstrate time
management and prioritization skills necessary to complete tasks in a
timely manner * Ability to accurately and thoroughly document, record,
and maintain information and data * Integrity job requires appropriate
handling of confidential, sensitive information Typical Experience: *
1-2 years experience in a law office or relevant field and Bachelor s
