  • Responsibilities

    JOB SUMMARY Responsible for on-time delivery of internal and external customer requirements. Works independently with minimal supervision. Assignments may include development projects, prototypes, production orders, spares and repairs. Functions include reviewing sales orders, calculating material requirements, creating production schedules, interpreting drawings, creating purchase requisitions, incorporating engineering change notices, preparing shipping documents and coordinating project closeouts. Willing to work extra hours as necessary. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES " Interprets sales orders, develops and maintains production schedules, calculates material requirements using MRP system and manually, prepares and submits purchase requisitions, releases manufacturing orders and prepares shipping documents in support of on-time shipments. " Works from engineering drawings and system data to create purchase requisitions, production schedules and incorporate engineering change notices. " Resolves problems associated with inventories, procurement, scheduling, work-in-process and shipments to ensure on-time delivery. " Schedules and chairs meetings. " Works with the Planning Supervisor to develop new and/or improved information system applications and department procedures. " Attends DLA meetings and participates as assigned. " Prepares status reports as required. " Coordinates project closeouts as assigned. " Performs other tasks as assigned. " Must be a US Person: US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) from four-year college or university equivalent; and 7 to 10 years in material planning, or related experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment desired. Experience with Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and planning for New Product Introduction (NPI). Experience with Deltek Costpoint a plus.

    CNA QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must be at least 18 years of age.. • Must be certified in the state where applying or have successfully completed CNA training from a state-approved school and obtain certification within the first four (4) months of employment. • Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance as required. • Must be able to work weekend and overtime as required. • Must meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment exam, if required.
