The Mechanical Engineer will carry out engineering assignments concerned with the planning and design of mechanically functioning equipment and processes. Additional responsibilities may include monitoring production, installation, operation, maintenance, test and repair of mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment and processes.
Qualified candidate will have 0 - 3 years experience designing and developing complex electro-mechanical components/systems for the aerospace/defense industry. Understanding of military specifications and environment desired, MIL-STD-100 preferred. ASME Y14.5 standard desired. Experience with test equipment setup and operation is a plus. Applicant must have the ability to hear and speak clearly and must be an effective communicator and possess above average writing skills. The candidate must have a good understanding of mechanical engineering concepts, theory and calculations. Looking for a hands-on team player.
Education: BSME required.
Computer Skills: Proficient in CAD (Solidworks) Excel and Word Frequent use of computer and keyboard.
