    Latham & Watkins, a global law firm consistently ranked among the top firms in the world, is seeking a Global Document Production Specialist I to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York or Washington, D.C. Please note this role consists of a Monday – Friday 4:30 pm – 12:30 am PST shift.

    **About the role
    ** As a Document Production Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of core document support duties such as creating, editing and otherwise manipulating legal documents and other work product for attorneys and staff.

    Other key responsibilities include:

    • Communicating status of jobs with customers, team Coordinators and/or Supervisors.
    • Completing various basic-level projects in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Utilizing Adobe Professional to compress pdf files, creating searchable and non-searchable pdfs., and applying Bates numbering and crop pages as needed
    • Proofreading documents when necessary
    • Recording time and working notes in the GLODOCS ServiceNow work order ticket

    About you

    Join our team if you:

    • Have strong document production skills in MS Office applications which includes creating, editing, manipulating documents and basic knowledge of other applications typically used in a legal document production environment including Acrobat, Interwoven, OmniPage, Visio and other software
    • Are innovative, have a strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Would like the opportunity to develop strong technical skills through high quality training; and seek to work autonomously on high calibre work within a collaborative global environment

    And have:

    • A High School Diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor’s degree desired
    • Microsoft certifications in Word Core, Excel Core and PowerPoint
    • Related experience working in a document production role at a professional services organization
    • Fluent English language skills both written and verbal
