  • Responsibilities

    CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an Employee-Owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking a Strategic Planner skilled in strategic-level analysis and assessment, and planning and integration within the Joint Strategic Planning System (JSPS) and the Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) processes.

     

    TASKS INCLUDE:

     

    • Conduct strategic level analysis, document development and assessment of DoD strategic planning documents within the Joint Strategic Planning System and National Guard Strategic Planning System.
    • Participate throughout the PPBE process from a strategic planning perspective.
    • Participate in DoD and Joint planning analysis and assessments.

    Required Skills

    • MUST HOLD AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE
    • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
    • Proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint
    • Must be able to travel

     

    PREFERRED SKILLS:

     

    • Current Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS-SCI) clearance.
    • Proficiency in DoD tasking systems.

    Required Experience

    • Three to six years of experience working within the senior defense organizations in the Pentagon (National Guard Bureau, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Office of the Secretary of Defense).
    • Three to six years of experience in all phases of the PPBE process as performed by the Army, Air Force, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Office of the Secretary of Defense.

     

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Six to ten plus years of experience working within the senior defense organizations in the Pentagon (National Guard Bureau, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Office of the Secretary of Defense).

    • Six to ten plus years of experience in all phases of the PPBE process as performed by the Army, Air Force, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Office of the Secretary of Defense.

     

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school by a national or regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
    • Graduate of CGSC or ILE if former military officer, commensurate Professional Military Education if former military Warrant, Enlisted, or Civil Service.

     

    PREFERRED EDUCATION:

    • Master’s Degree from an accredited school by a national or regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
