    **About the role
    ** As a Knowledge Management Lawyer - Privacy & Cyber, you will be responsible for coordinating with the Privacy & Cyber Global Co-Chairs to support the delivery of a broad portfolio of knowledge services for the Privacy & Cyber Practice, including the monitoring of legal, market, and regulatory developments, the preparation of communications and tailored thought leadership pieces for clients, the creation of standard forms and guidance notes, the collation and organization of precedent, and the handling of legal research and technical queries. Other key responsibilities include:

    • Monitoring current legal, market, and industry developments in the privacy and cyber space and preparing regular high-quality communications and thought leadership materials for attorneys and clients regarding these developments (including in pitches, newsletters, client presentations, client alerts, and blog posts)
    • Interacting and collaborating closely with practicing attorneys from across the firm, including the Data & Technology Transactions (“DTT”) and Connectivity, Privacy & Information practice groups (and in particular with the two DTT Knowledge Management Lawyers) on privacy and cyber matters
    • Identifying drafts and maintaining Latham standard forms, precedent, and guidance materials in the privacy and cyber space
    • Supporting the delivery of the firm’s privacy and cyber training programs, including setting the curriculum, assisting with the preparation of training materials, and delivering substantive training and training on the firm’s knowhow resources
    • Coordinating and monitoring relevant knowledge management projects, leveraging the engagement of practicing attorneys in order to create the highest caliber resources and to incorporate practice and market experience

    **About you
    ** We’d love to hear from you if you:


    • Possess extensive technical legal knowledge in the data privacy and cyber sector, as well as in-depth industry knowledge, including familiarity with the major players in the industry and an understanding of relevant terminology and resources
    • Demonstrate the ability to solve problems relating to both technical issues and situations involving the coordination of attorneys, non-attorney staff and different administrative departments
    • Have meticulous attention to detail

    And have:

    • A J.D. or Bachelor of Laws or equivalent
    • A minimum of five (5) years’ relevant law firm experience as a practicing attorney with good experience of data privacy and cyber law and regulation in the US and, preferably, some level of familiarity with EU and global data privacy regimes
    • Some experience of cyber and data incident response

    **Compensation & Benefits
    **Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also receive a generous and competitive total compensation package. The salary range for this role is $200,000 - $230,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location. Discretionary bonuses may be awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance — and profit-sharing partnership contributions to 401(k) accounts may be given based on firm performance.
