    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Reporting Supervisor oversees the reporting functions for multiple Globe Companies that help drive critical business decisions.  The Supervisor will lead a team of data analysts and will be responsible for the preparation, compilation, audit, and analysis of current reports.  They will work with Sales Leadership to interpret the needs for reporting.

     

    PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Supervision of reporting team.
    • Oversee the accurate completion of all reporting and maintain consistency across reporting.
    • Responsible for measuring and monitoring accuracy of all reporting and meeting monthly accuracy goals for individuals and the team.
    • Drives reporting prioritization with Sales Management to ensure the flow of reports throughout the month so deadlines are met.
    • Assists in the development, management, hiring, training, and corrective actions of Data Analysts that report to the Reporting Supervisor.
    • Establishes an environment of continuous and proactive improvement, identifies and implements process changes to increase effectiveness and maintain accuracy of reporting.
    • Point of contact for Sales, Executives, Recruiters, Directors, and Agency Owners to resolve issues and research possible discrepancies in reporting. Works with other home office departments to clarify and resolve issues that impact reporting.
    • Analyzes reporting and provides insights.
    • Guide the weekly system update and communicate any issues to the team when necessary.
    • Responsible to help guide the department to reduce redundancy in reporting.
    • Ensures access to data as new systems are implemented.  Works with Business and IT teams to make sure data requirements for current reporting is met when new systems are implemented. 
    • Updates yearly reporting requirements and adjustments as changes happen that impact reporting accuracy.
    • Performs other duties as needed and assigned by management

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Required Skills

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

     

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong emphasis on Excel (VLookup and Pivot Tables)
    • Must work well under pressure, with a focus on organization and accuracy
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Strong leadership skills
    • Ability to drive team performance and interpret the needs of Sales Executives
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong problem solving, analytical, and collaborative skills
    • Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment

    Required Experience

    EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

     

    • 1-2 years supervisor experience required
    • High School diploma required, college degree preferred
    • Experience in reporting and data analytics
    • Insurance industry experience a plus
  • Qualifications
