    ABOUT THE ROLE As a Cloud Services Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of the firm's core cloud environment.  This includes, but is not limited to, designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cloud first solutions; migrating existing workloads to the cloud; and providing other departments with guidance in our Azure cloud environment and other platforms the firm may adopt. You will also be responsible for mentoring and cross training other members of the Cloud Services team. Other key responsibilities include:

     

    • Developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining Azure environment by translating business goals into technical needs with an emphasis on sustainable and scalable Azure solutions
    • Partnering with other departments and functional groups to provide guidance on Azure best practices and deployment methodologies
    • Creating proactive remediation in Azure environment using monitoring, alerting and automation tools
    • Supporting the Security and Information Governance teams related to, configuration best practices, identity management, and providing guidance on least privilege access principals
    • Designing and maintaining backup and disaster recovery strategies for cloud resources

     

    ABOUT YOU We’d love to hear from you if you:

     

    • Have knowledge and proficiency in Azure cloud offerings (Azure AD, Compute, Storage Accounts, Automation Accounts, SQL Services, Network Services, etc.)
    • Have experience with Azure Identity Management services such as MFA, Conditional Access and SSO configuration.
    • Possess knowledge and proficiency of configuration management automation (Terraform preferred) and other scripting tools such as PowerShell, Graph API and Azure CLI.

     

    And have:

     

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
    • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience providing upper-level support, training, or mentoring for other technology department personnel
    • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience within the IT System Engineering field in a large multi-site Microsoft environment
    • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience with senior level administration of the Azure cloud platform. This includes, but is not limited to, creating and maintaining subscriptions, configuring virtual networks and firewalls, deploying resources and services with automation tools and monitoring the health and security of Azure services
