REPORTS TO Materials Supervisor
BASIC FUNCTION
Identifies, Labels, Moves and Stores containers, raw materials and finished goods to aid in the manufacturing effort of the plant.
Assists in shipping / receiving functions of the department.

Stand-Up Fork Lift Operator Operate License/Permit/Certification

Lockout / Tagout – Affected Employee Basic / Entry Level Training / Seminar

- Excellent safety record.
- Ability to operate fork lift safely.
- Ability to stack/un-stack large automotive seating bins safely and efficiently.
- Satisfactory attendance record.
- Exhibits good teamwork, cooperates consistently w/ co-workers and supervisors.
- Demonstrates good verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates ability to complete forms and document activities completely and in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates ability to manage storage space in an orderly fashion.
- Demonstrates able to operate basic office equipment (computer, scanner, fax machine).
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Load and unload trailers.
- Utilize handheld computer to create product labels.
- Store containers, both full and empty in designated areas.
- Verify scrap counts against reports and dispose of scrap material.
- Support packing operation using a fork lift (removing full containers and replacing with empty containers).
- Support production line by delivering boxes of components on cycle-delivery schedule.
- Basic housekeeping tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Assist in physical inventory process.

- Repeated reaching, bending and twisting.
- Repeated lifting of up to 50lbs throughout a scheduled shift.

- Reading and distinguishing complex numbers repeatedly.
- Handling of pallets, stretch wrap, cardboard, foam products and product labels.
- Changing propane cylinders or recharging batteries for fork lift operation.
