ABOUT THE ROLE As a Compliance and Ethics Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) program,  Ethics Wall, and other compliance programs in multiple offices across the firm. Other key responsibilities include:

    • Conducting corporate research to identify what AML documentation is required and then gathering the appropriate documents through online research and working alongside lawyers and secretaries
    • Responding to questions from lawyers and secretaries in multiple offices regarding AML documentation requirements
    • Monitoring several inboxes and promptly responding to global queries
    • Ensuring that the timeframe for providing AML documentation is met by lawyers and secretaries in multiple offices across the firm
    • Providing regular reports on the status of AML documentation collection efforts and updating outdated documents

    ABOUT YOU We’d love to hear from you if you:

    • Exhibit an advanced ability to perceive and analyse problems and develop alternative strategies to solve them
    • Display well developed and professional interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people at all organisational levels of the firm.
    • Demonstrate initiative, self-motivation and an ability to work independently

    And have:

    • A Bachelor’s degree or previous relevant experience
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Excellent organisational skills needed to manage time well, prioritise effectively, and handle multiple deadlines
