    ABOUT THE ROLE

    As a Legal Secretary, you will be responsible for performing a variety of secretarial duties of a confidential nature for attorneys, paralegals, and/or managers. Other key responsibilities include:

     

    • Assisting attorneys and paralegals with tasks such as daily time entry, expense reimbursement, calendaring and scheduling, managing/editing documents, travel arrangements, and other administrative support tasks to enable our attorneys to focus on client-billable work
    • Creating, editing, and processing bills in accordance with firm and client invoices
    • Working in a collaborative team environment with a work ticketing system to ensure attorney requests are promptly and efficiently handled to completion
    • Learning and utilizing the various processes and software systems that enable our work, and a willingness to grow and learn as those systems and processes evolve
    • Maintaining a commitment to preserving the confidentiality of ours and our clients’ protected information

     

    ABOUT YOU

    We’d love to hear from you if you:

     

    • Possess strong communication skills; this role will require you to interact and communicate effectively and professionally with clients and colleagues in-person, via telephone or video, and in writing
    • Are team players. Teamwork is critical to the success of PROS, and this role will require you to work with colleagues to make sure we provide best-in-class service to our attorneys and clients.
    • Are proactive and adaptable with a “can-do” mindset. Successful Attorney Support Assistants enjoy tackling challenges and finding solutions to novel problems

     

    AND HAVE:

    • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, or have previous law firm experience

     

    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also receive a generous and competitive total compensation package. The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location. Discretionary bonuses may be awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance — and profit-sharing partnership contributions to 401(k) accounts may be given based on firm performance.
