ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Counsel Recruiting & Onboarding Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing, driving and delivering on all aspects of counsel recruiting and onboarding for the Firm’s US offices. Other key responsibilities include:
Managing all phases of the lateral counsel recruiting process for our US offices, including proposing relevant interviewers, arranging all interviews, disseminating and ensuring receipt of relevant forms, collating and disseminating feedback, procuring the relevant approvals, liaising with the Income Partner and Counsel Review Committee (IPAC) to determine compensation, and coordinating all steps in furtherance of securing each counsel hire
Maintaining regular communication with - and providing regular, proactive status updates to - the relevant stakeholders and Firm and administrative leadership, including IPAC
Processing all introductions of counsel candidates, whether direct or through headhunters, ensuring that all materials are distributed in a timely fashion to those at the firm involved in each potential candidate’s recruiting process
Maintaining accurate records of all candidate introductions, processes and outcomes
Identifying where terms of business need to be put in place with headhunters and working closely with the Global Manager of Partner Recruiting – Research & Analysis and the Office of the General Counsel in order to put these into effect

Possess strong attention to detail
Demonstrate the ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
AND HAVE:
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required
A minimum of five (5) years of recruiting or other law firm experience preferred
