    The Azure Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the engineering and operations of our next-generation hybrid multi-cloud environment with on-prem and cloud resources, Tier III platform support and change control process. This individual will also work closely with applications, cyber security, architects, and other teams to ensure services are designed to meet Graebel's needs.

     

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:

    • Serve as a subject matter expert and Cloud engineer for one or more products or technologies within Microsoft Azure
    • Develop and deploy solutions using Azure Dev Ops
    • Integrate, configure, and deploy cloud services
    • Participate in work sessions with clients and deliver advisory and/or training sessions on different technical topics or aspects of the project implementation
    • Document projects including design, asset inventory, diagrams, deployment runbooks, and troubleshooting guides
    • Regularly communicate with IT leadership and project management to ensure alignment on timelines and potential problems/risk that could require resolution or mitigation
    • Design and build highly scalable, cloud-native applications on the Azure platform using core developer services

    Required Skills

    Azure:

    • Experience developing and debugging Azure Services: Logic Apps, Data factory, App Services, Functions, SQL, Storage, IAM, etc.
    • Experience configuring and monitoring application performance using Azure monitoring or another monitoring solution
    • Azure DevOps - backlogs, git repos, and pipelines

    General:

    • Experience designing and implementing cloud solutions using IAAS and PAAS
    • Extensive experience in .NET Core and C#
    • Experienced in executing SQL queries, Stored Procedures etc.
    • Advanced experience with RESTful APIs
    • Unit testing, functional testing, automated testing
    • Solid working knowledge of cloud strategy and engineering principles, virtualization, serverless, information security, and DevOps
    • Experience working with regulated environments (e.g., PCI, HIPAA, etc.)

    Required Experience

    Education:

    • BS level technical degree or equivalent professional or military experience

    Experience:

    • 2+ years of large-scale software development or application engineering
    • 2+ years of experience working with Azure cloud technologies
    • Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Developer, or Azure DevOps Engineer Certification

     

    Anticipated Salary and Benefits Summary - $100-135K in Colorado. Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation range for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado. Compensation in different markets will be based upon that market.
