Our firm has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our growing team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
High volume voucher review/input and remittance processing in a multi-currency, multi-entity environment, including:
· Review incoming payment requests for proper authorization and support in payables routing and approval system
· Timely review and posting of vouchers in core accounting system
· Issue payments via outgoing wire transfer, ACH or check payment on an as needed basis (daily, weekly, monthly)
· Coordinate and obtain necessary outgoing wire approvals and signatures on checks
· Distribute signed checks
· Scan and upload support documentation to core accounting system;
Review, research and respond to vendor statements and general inquiries within expected timeframes;
Maintain access to the firms’ PACER account and process quarterly invoice for payment;
Reconcile firm deposit accounts with various international and governmental agencies to the general ledger to ensure fund availability and timeliness of cost recording for client recovery;
Communicate difficult messages in a courteous and professional manner;
Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by the Accounts Payable Supervisor and/or the Director of Accounting Operations.
Desirable Qualifications:
· Associates degree in Accounting, preferred, or 1-2 years related experience at a law firm or comparable professional service setting;
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to consistently display professionalism in tone and spirit;
· Demonstrated technical proficiency with business and accounting software applications (ex: Advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Chrome River, Concur, Elite 3E);
· Ability to work independently and as a team to meet established deadlines;
· Assumes responsibility and takes ownership of work;
· Attention to detail, while understanding the big picture;
· Problem solving skills/ability to transfer technical knowledge from one assignment to the next;
· Strong organizational skills.
