    We are The Ryan Law Group, a full-service Personal Injury law firm located in Manhattan Beach, CA. We are looking for a full-time Legal Assistant with 2+ years of experience working at a Personal Injury law firm to join our expanding team! Our office is located right at the intersection of Highland and Rosecrans in Manhattan Beach, with a beautiful view of the beach right from our windows. The Strand and the sand are just a two-minute walk away and offer a great way to spend your lunch break! Responsibilities: As a Litigation Assistant at our Firm, your responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to): • Provide administrative and legal support to two attorneys & two paralegals. • Calendars hearings, trials, depositions, and appointments, in Casepeer (our Case Management software). • Assist counsel in saving documents and organizing and maintaining case files. • Complete electronic court filings at a state level. • Correspond with clients in litigation as needed for case updates or to collect case information. • Account for all outstanding and paid invoices before closing out files. • Prepare checks, letters, and records costs in Casepeer when distributing checks. Qualifications: Requirements: • Must be able to commute to and work in-person at our office in Manhattan Beach • Close attention to detail • Organized • Strong communication skills • Outgoing personality, people person • Able to multitask • Good follow-up and follow-through with tasks • Team player Education and/or Experience: • At least 2 years of Litigation Assistant experience at another law firm • Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year university • Currently enrolled in law school or paralegal school, preferred but not required Compensation: $25 - $28 hourly
