Litigation Legal Assistant (Riverside)

As our Litigation Legal Assistant , you will have the opportunity to advocate for our clients’ interests, often in ground-breaking and newsworthy cases.

Compensation:

• $50,000 - $90,000, depending on experience
• This is a non-exempt position that is eligible for overtime

Key Responsibilities:

• Professionally communicate with clients, experts, courts, and defense counsel
• Prepare documents for filing in both state and federal courts
• Support our attorneys in all phases of litigation
• Assist in drafting pleadings and complaints
• Manage and calendar court deadlines
• Propound and respond to discovery
• Maintain organized case files

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience
• Ability to act independently and in a team-based environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Confident in a paperless work environment
• Knowledge of e-Filing and California rules
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Type at least 40 wpm
