    Job Description

    JOB PURPOSE: To plan and conduct a variety of analytical, administrative, and research studies. Gather information that will predict market trends that allow the company to plan and change sales techniques to improve profit. Use economic information to create sales forecasts and develop quotas for the sales team. Assist the vice president in areas such as; expense reports, booking travel, quick report turn-around.

    Summary of Essential Job Duties:

    • Prepares sales forecasts and collects and analyzes data to evaluate current sales trends and results.
    • Researches and evaluates current economic conditions that may affect the organization's ability to sell its products or services in the marketplace.
    • Assists in the development of sales budgets and KPI measurements of club performance.
    • Recommends changes to current KPI results, procedures or promotional efforts based on market research and new trends.
    • Analyzes current competition and identifies areas of possible threats.
    • Supports Development Team/VP in administration of paperwork and timely reporting to Key Customer(s)
    • Develops methods and strategies for assessing large amounts of data.
    • Closely studies past club performance data to determine trends in productivity.
    • Provide staff support to higher-level management staff; prepare and present staff reports and other correspondence as appropriate and necessary including proficiency in Power Point or Keynote
    • Conducts research into competitive companies and the surrounding market.
    • Assists with development of new retail channels.
    • Presents needed reports to company managers, directors, and/or CEOs.
    • Daily management of KPI measurements and quick turnaround for requested data.
    • Provides suggestions for budget rearrangement and re-allocation of funds to save money.
    • Serves as a consultant for company marketing strategies.
    • Attends and participates in planning and strategy meetings.
    • Prepare and submit expenses related to the Business Development Team/VP
    • Assist with travel planning
    • Professional liaison to operations, supply chain, marketing, product development.
    • Ability to troubleshoot opportunities within Key Customer Database

    SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Demonstrates proficiency in the use of sales forecasting software.
    • Possesses knowledge of the industry or market in which he or she is conducting analyses.
    • Mastery skills with Microsoft Office; especially Excel and Power Point.
    • Speaks confidently and articulately in front of a group.
    • Possesses strong math skills.
    • Demonstrate the ability to think both analytically and creatively.
    • Possesses strong problem-solving skills.
    • Communicates clearly and effectively.
    • Pays close attention to detail.
    • Manages time efficiently.
    • Works well with a team.
    • Is capable of translating financial and mathematical jargon into layman’s terms for explanatory purposes.
    • Possesses strong writing skills.
    • Is capable of conducting independent research.
    • Demonstrates familiarity with budget software and budget analysis.

     

    EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.
    • 2 – 5 years experience
    • Marketing/Communication experience a plus
