Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and following all established standards of practice within State and Federal guidelines. The Angio-Specialist will be proficient in patient assessment and be competent in the management of patients Cardiovascular patients, which included the vascular interventional radiology population, before, during and after their procedures. The Angio-Specialist will also be required to take an “on call schedule during non-operational hours of the lab to provide coverage for emergency cases. In addition he/she will provide supervision of non-RN personnel.
FULL TIME: 37.5 hours per week - rotational 10 & 12 hour shifts Monday-Friday;
Rotational night and weekend call required; on call expectation of 1-2 nights per week and one weekend per month

Required Skills
Minimum of 2 years critical care experience highly preferred
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
Valid license as Registered Nurse in Connecticut required
BLS, ACLS required
Moderate Sedation experience highly preferred
