Legal Administrative Assistant - Intellectual Property
Offit Kurman, a growing full-service law firm, is looking to hire a Legal Administrative Assistant/Legal Secretary with Intellectual Property experience for its center city Philadelphia office.
Ideal candidates will possess 5 or more years working as a Legal Administrative Assistant in a law firm with a minimum of 2-3 of patent and trademark support experience. Candidates must be technology proficient (advanced Word, Excel and Outlook) with strong attention to detail and ability to turn work around in an efficient manner with minimal errors, experience with maintaining calendars and scheduling meetings and travel, strong communication skills and ability to manage the attorney assignment with a proactive approach balancing the needs of all. Must have a patent/intellectual property background.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Familiarity with IP terminology
• Preparation and revision of legal documents
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite; passing scores on Microsoft Word and Outlook assessments
Proficient knowledge and usage of document management system (NetDocs)
