    Offit Kurman is a law firm with 14 offices and over 240 attorneys.  We are seeking to hire a Head of Legal Recruiting and Analysis.    

    The person hired will be charged with monitoring, analyzing and improving Offit Kurman's recruiting function with the goal being to effectively and efficiently recruit attorneys that will increase the firm's revenue and profit.  The Head of Legal Recruiting & Analysis will accomplish this by conducting research, interpreting data and making recommendations based on their findings. This person will coordinate with other members of the executive and administrative management team to ensure efficient communications, prioritization of important issues, and timely completion of tasks and assignments.

    This person will report directly to the CEO.  

    While some travel is required, much of the work can be done remotely.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Interface with attorney candidates regarding completing due diligence forms, understanding attorney compensation, understanding firm benefits for lawyers, solving problems that come up during recruiting and onboarding, and all other questions from attorney candidates
    • Evaluate client conflicts report and follow up on any possible conflicts with the attorney candidates, recruiters and firm management involved in recruiting
    • Evaluate the financial due diligence received from principal level candidates and assist with hiring decisions and preparation of the candidate package for presentation to the Management Committee
    • Schedule and lead due diligence and recruiting department meetings.
    • Develop, manage and help to implement efficient processes for attorney recruiting.
    • Organize and schedule attorney candidate interviews.
    • Prepare employment offers for new attorney candidates for review by the Attorney leading the recruiting meetings
    • Facilitate clear, effective, and efficient communications amongst recruiting, onboarding, HR, Marketing, Regional Management and Office of Managing Principal and other firm departments.
    • Assist the CEO in developing agendas, reports, and other materials in preparation for meetings, presentations, and projects regarding recruiting initiatives.

    QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

    • 5 years or more experience in executive support or similar high-level administrative roles.
    • Superior ability to analyze financial data and develop financial plans related to growth initiatives.
    • Expert-level skills with Microsoft Office, especially Teams, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong organizational skills and proven ability to prioritize, manage, and successfully deliver multiple assignments on aggressive and competing deadlines.
    • Strong relationship management skills to manage and strengthen interest of candidates in affiliation with the firm.
    • Goal oriented, highly motivated individuals who thrive off constant analysis, improvement, and profitable growth.
    • Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.  Some travel, primarily day trips to other offices.
