    Offit Kurman is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to support its growing litigation and restructuring practice in either its Los Angeles or Dallas office. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with at least six years of litigation experience and a strong background in bankruptcy matters, particularly Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings.

    The Bankruptcy Paralegal will work closely with attorneys on all aspects of bankruptcy cases from inception through resolution. Responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and filing pleadings, petitions and motions; managing case dockets and deadlines; gathering documents; organizing and maintaining case files; conducting legal research; and drafting correspondence, discovery materials, and court filings. The paralegal will also communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel while ensuring accuracy and adherence to all deadlines.

    Qualified candidates bring a minimum of six years of litigation experience with a demonstrated focus on bankruptcy law. Strong drafting and legal research skills are essential, along with a thorough understanding of bankruptcy procedures, rules, and filings in both Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 matters. Proficiency with legal research platforms and case management systems is expected. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    For the right candidate, a hybrid schedule of one to two remote days per week may be considered after an initial onboarding period.

    Salary range of $80,000-$100,000.
