Job Description
We're looking for UI/UX Designers with the passion and experience to design what matters – one project at a time. The ideal candidate can deliver across both disciplines and take a product concept from scribble to high-fidelity prototype and market release. S/he should have a talent for and understanding of design research, usability testing, typography, color, information hierarchy, visual balance, branding and cognitive design.
Responsibilities:
- Design user experiences that are intuitive and visually appealing
- Transform ideas and concepts into well-structured, efficient user experiences
- Develop UI/UX deliverables, from information architecture, user flow diagrams, low & high-fidelity wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and style guides
- Conduct interviews, competitive research, design explorations, and strategic analysis
- Create interactive experiences that are useful to users and promote our client's businesses
- Provide deliverables including prototypes, proof of concept documents, wire frames, user flows, use cases, and user scenarios
- Track and monitor progress on development and quality of the experience
- Ability to manage and maintain IA/UI/UX best practices
- Execute design at all levels, from systems/flow design, to UX design, to visual design
- Document user scenarios, personas and create functional specifications
- Conduct user research, create information architectures, user flows, wireframes and visual design comps
- Perform user research and usability tests to validate design concepts
- Translate brand guidelines into design templates and style guides for web and mobile interfaces
- Translate complex metrics and other information into rich and interactive digital data visualizations
- Ensure that the end-to-end experience meets consumer expectations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in fine art, graphic design, industrial design, visual communications or equivalent
- 2+ years' experience in UIUX/Experience Design
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative package, InDesign, and Visio
- Ability to work independently as well as within a distributed team
- High attention to detail
- Ability to recognize and address user experience needs and gaps
- Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to articulate design vision and UI/UX directions to a broad audience
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, and collaborate with distributed teams.
