Required Skills Required Experience
Perform laboratory testing on the full range of lubricants used in shipboard equipment and systems.
Format test results to best support analysis and assessment of data.
Establish and conduct the quality checks necessary to evaluate adherence to established laboratory test procedures.
Research and understand Naval Fluids test requirements.
Train shipboard personnel on test procedure.
Review and revision of test policies, procedures, and plans associated with a wide range of Naval Fluids and lubricants in order to ensure the U.S. Navy's Lubricating Oil Quality Management (LOQM) program remains effective, efficient and current with LOQM innovations with the Department of Defense and commercial industry.
