Wilson Elser's NYC Downtown office located at 125 Broad Street currently seeks a Lead Conflicts Analyst to join the team.

THE POSITION The Lead Conflicts Analyst plays an integral coordination role in Wilson Elser’s Conflicts Department. The Conflicts Department is the central hub through which conflicts of interest checks are processed for new clients, new matters, and new legal hires. The Lead Conflicts Analyst is responsible for assisting the Conflicts Supervisor in leading team operations, coordinating special projects, and training new and existing team members. The ideal candidate is someone who is extremely detail-oriented, has strong leadership skills, and adapts in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications •Bachelor's degree •2-5 years of experience identifying/resolving conflicts in a professional or legal setting, or has a J.D. •Provide guidance to the Conflict Analysts who are running data searches and identifying potential conflicts •Strong leadership and mentorship skills •Strong oral and written communication skills to solicit and communicate information effectively and professionally •Strong organizational skills and attention to detail •Ability to interact with all levels of personnel in a professional manner •Ability to work in a team atmosphere •Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment •Strong computer, research, and analytical skills
Responsibilities •Support the Conflicts Supervisor in connection with monitoring and delegating conflicts requests •Track the conflicts team’s requests received through multiple workflows •Coordinate the processing and completion of special projects •Ensure all firm procedures are accurately and consistently followed by the team •Review work of team members on an ongoing basis for quality control purposes, and provide remedial training when necessary •Perform the function of a Conflicts Analyst if necessary for team coverage
