Camp Takajo is a seven week traditional residential camp for boys. Our activities include many land sports, water sports, fine arts and outdoor education.

Potential camp counselors are hired based on character, stability, interest in working with kids, warmth, personality, and ability in a specialty. A counselors job is to organize and lead activities. Regardless of our counselors specialty, all counselors are responsible for the well-being of the campers throughout their time in Camp.

Camp Takajo is a non-denominational value-based campaign community. Strong moral and ethical values are taught to the campers by the example set by the staff. Yes, definitely, we are in the fun business!!

Safety, fun, growth, and enrichment is a part of everything we do. There is no greater trust that that placed in us by parents, and no greater expectation than theirs for our complete dedication and attention to their son.
