Do you want to experience the rewards of working with special needs children? Do you want to work outdoors on a beautiful campus under the guidance of special needs professional staff?

Round Lake Camp, a special needs inclusion program, needs both a chess instructor/counselor to supervise and live with male campers ages 7 to 18.

Our 140 campers live in bunks with other special needs campers and program with our larger typical camper population at Camp Nah-Jee-Wah and Cedar Lake Camp throughout the day.

Our special needs campers have learning differences, social communication disorders, and ADHD. Counselors will participate and engage with campers in their daily activities.

They will work with other staff to create a supportive safe environment. Hands-on help with personal skills is not required.

This is a fabulous experience to connect with kids and develop leadership skills needed to work with special needs populations.
