Round Lake Camp is a sleep away camp based on an inclusion model for campers aged 7-17 with learning differences, ADHD, anxiety and social communication disorders. Our campers share all the facilities and programming with Nah-Jee-Wah and Cedar Lake Camps at NJY Camps so that all campers have the same opportunities and choices. All traditional camp programs are provided such as swimming, sports, adventure courses, arts, STEM etc. In addition, OT, speech and academic supports are available for those who qualify.
As a general counselor you become a most significant member of the camp team designed to offer support and direction to the campers. While specialist counselors run specific activities throughout the day, a general counselor focuses on camper care and supports the day-to-day operations of a respective group at camp.
