  • Responsibilities

    The Office Staff are a constant source of support for the Office Manager. They will assist in the overall business operation of the Camp Lincoln Business Office, as well as their main clerical focus-Accounting, Transportation, Office Assistant. The Office Staff will be responsible for various on-going projects while also interacting with visitors and alumni who enter the office.

     Essential Job Functions:

    • Assist in the daily operations of the Camp Lincoln Business Office.
    • Maintain clear communication with the all members of Business Office, including the Office Manager.
    • Answer phones and e-mail communications related to camper registrations, transportation, parental and general camp operational questions, and general inquiries.
    • Greet Alumni and visitors as they enter the Business Office.
    • Monitor and replenish office supplies as necessary.
    • Assist the Office Manager on various projects.
    • Assist Perform specific duties within your main clerical focus.

     Office Assistant

    • Assist the Office Manager on a daily basis on matters including camper registration, general inquires, phone and email management, etc.

     Accounting Assistant

    • Collect and track camper and staff charges from Camp Lincoln and Camp Lake Hubert.
    • Maintain system for petty cash.
    • Collect receipts and invoices and distribute those in a timely manner to the appropriate people.
    • Purchase postage for camp.

     Transportation Assistant

    • Input and maintain database for camper transportation.
    • Compile and distribute reports as necessary.
    • Maintain system for airline tickets and baggage tags.
    • Assist in the coordination of all travel days.
    • Maintain high standards of health and safety around camp.

     Be alert to campers and staff needs and assist them with personal and/or health problems, and discuss with camp health manager and/or resident camp director when appropriate.

     Be alert to equipment and facilities to ensure utilization, proper care, and maintenance is adhered to; report repairs needed promptly to maintenance. Be a role model to campers and staff in your attitude and behavior.

     Follow and uphold all safety and security rules and procedures.

     Set a good example to campers and others in regard to general camp procedures and practices including sanitation, schedule, and sportsmanship.

     Learn the camp creed and implement the values into everyday life that set a good example for the campers and staff around you.

  • Qualifications

    Many of our Office staff are working on internships in business, accounting, HR, and administration fields. Some office experience is valuable but not required. People willing to learn. Clear communication essential.
