Each athletic counselor is hired to teach a specific sport based on their experience and qualifications. Most have played at the high school and/or college level and many have previous coaching experience. Coaches will help boys ages 7 to 15 learn the basics of a specific sport and referee games.
In addition to teaching 3 to 4 classes a day, male counselors live in bunks with campers and female counselors serve as "bunk moms" to younger kids.
Younger boys learn how to throw and catch, how to cradle a lacrosse ball, and about the basic rules and positions on the field. Older campers learn more advanced skills in shooting, face-offs, checking, dodging, and offensive and defensive strategy.
Our top-notch facilities include two dedicated lacrosse fields that are used for lessons and games.
Prior playing, or coaching experience.
