There is NO such thing as being JUST a “Tennis Coach” at Romaca, you will also develop and strengthen your skills in the following areas:

• Teaching/Coaching: You’ll teach/coach kids aged 6-16 who have a wide range of skills from beginner to advanced.

• Leadership: You’ll have the chance to work with and learn from our experienced leadership staff. They will mentor, guide, and support you throughout the summer.

• Problem Solving: Every day is dynamic, there’s never a dull moment at camp. You’ll learn how to think on your feet and solve problems by thinking outside the box.

• Travel: Spend your summer in what is arguably the most beautiful part of the U.S. Western Massachusetts has so many wonderful places to explore with your new friends on days off.

• Friendship: Meet and make friends with people from all over the world. BFF doesn’t even come close to describing the friends you’ll make.

WARNING - Working at Camp Romaca may have the following side effects:

• Campers may look up to you as the coolest person they’ve ever met.

• Laughing, sometimes to the point of crying, everyday as you work alongside some of the most amazing people in camping.

• Your resume will be full of all the skills you’ve developed. Lookout future employers!

• You’ll annoy all your friends as you relive all the great memories from the summer.

• You’ll start using phrases such as “Living 10 for 2”.

Logistical/Boring Stuff - Thanks for making this far! :)

Camp Romaca is a summer camp for girls located in the picturesque Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts. We pride ourselves on fostering lifelong friendships between both campers and staff, while providing a unique summer experience.
