PILOT FREIGHT SERVICES is seeking a full time BILLING ASSOCIATE, LOCATED IN GLEN MILLS, PA. The hours for this position are MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, 8AM-5PM.

JOB SUMMARY:

Manage Special Billing invoices through the Pilot Invoice application. Ensure all back-up/requirements are provided  before invoices are sent out to the customer. Generate a PN for any missing back-up/requirements. Manage  customer coding for new accounts or billing change forms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Knowledge of each customers' tariff in your billing assignment
• Bill invoices from Daily Invoice Reports
• Keep billing guides up to date with newest tariffs
• Send invoices as soon as they become available
• Submit bills from Pending Reports if necessary
• Release EDI transmissions as soon as the invoice becomes available
• Update procedures and work instructions in the QMS, as needed, to reflect current processes
• Update billing procedures in the shared drive
• Handle invoice corrections, as needed
• Respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner
• Continue to increase communication to the stations to encourage them to use us as a resource to resolve problems or solicit advice on how to rate any profit pool shipments.
• Encourage positive exchange with the stations.
• Sort through non EDI invoices
• Other duties as assigned by management

• High School graduate or equivalent
• 2+ years experienced required 
• Detail Oriented
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with other C/O employees, station personnel and customers
• Ability to multi-task
• Good math, problem solving and organizational skills
