Job Purpose:

The Collections Supervisor is responsible for all aspect of collections, maintaining aged receivables and distributing client invoices including handling daily phone calls pertaining to delinquent accounts, work with customers who are holding past-due accounts while maintaining a positive relationship with them, and assuming additional billing duties as dictated to meet company goals.

• Action Client inquiries/billing discrepancies/ client credits
• Work closely with outside collections agencies
• Research potential client credits
• Apply Cash, Wire, Credit Card, and Check payments
• Supervise the Collections staff
• Daily, Weekly, Monthly Reporting requirements
• Ad-hoc projects and reports

• 2 to 5 years of Collections experience
• 1 to 3 years of Supervisory experience
• Business / Accounting degree preferred
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills, both in person and on the phone
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel), Windows, Email (Outlook), Internet Research, and English
• Professional / Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a changing work environment
• Experience with Logistics and terminology preferred
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Proven ability to manage accounting figures, calculate post entries.
• Must be able to enjoy working in a social environment and work well with others
